Reflection:
The purpose of this project was to backup a thesis statement that psychology is the most important part of following an exercise program. I wanted to highlight misconceptions about the steps people usually take to achieve fitness goals, and show that the things they think are important, pale in comparison to having a growth mindset about it. My audience for this project is people who are interested in following through with lifelong fitness goals, or have failed in the past for whatever reason. I think the paper was a good choice for this project again, but could have similarly worked well in video or podcast form. Including images, and other multimodal aspects was in my opinion, not necessary to get my point across here. I think that I did a really good job just using text to explain what I was thinking, and if it were not required, probably would not have included any multimodality. The largest challenge I faced was coming up with a definitive thesis about the subject, as I knew what I wanted to talk about, but putting into a concise format was challenging.
